Newtown, Pa. – NuShield, Inc., is pleased to announce that its DayVue anti-reflective film has been successfully tested on electronic devices with LCD displays used by boaters. These include GPS navigation, depth finder and fish finder devices that do not use surface capacitive touch screens. The installed film even allows boaters to wear polarized sunglasses or look at the device from an angle and still read the display.

The film is currently available for hundreds of electronic devices under the brand names of Eagle, Garmin, Humminbird, Lowrance, Navman, Raymarine, Simrad and Powertech Hydraulics. The film can also be custom cut for any LCD display without additional charge. NuShield has also been approved by Viking Yachts for use on their boats.

The DayVue is the only screen protector of its kind that combines anti-reflective technology and superior scratch resistance. The film provides high durability and high visibility that improve viewing angles. The superb anti-reflective effect makes the LCD screen easy to see. The film can be cleaned normally without degrading the anti-reflective properties. Sea water or cleaning liquids will not damage the film.

This film ideally suited for use in outdoor light where sun glare interferes with the clear viewing of the LCD screen. DayVue has been previously tested successfully with other devices such as cell phones, SmartPhones, digital cameras, PC tablets, auto GPS systems, laptops, and other consumer or industrial electronic devices with screens up to 80 inch diagonal.

NuShield films have been designed to work with LCD screens for an extended period of time without any distortion to the image. NuShield is made of a super thin, durable plastic manufactured that provides extended protection against dust, scratches and gouges.

The DayVue is easy to install because it uses a slight adhesive backing which holds the film on the screen instead of a heavy glue adhesive. The film filters out 99% of UV light from reaching the screen or reflecting back to the eyes. The NuShield film is also abrasion and chemical resistant and provides a high degree of clarity.

NuShield Inc., based in Newtown, PA, has been the leading provider of screen protectors for LCD touch screens used in electronic devices since 1998 and is sold directly to consumers on its website at nushield.com or through distributors worldwide.
