Bensalem, Pa. – NuShield, Inc., is pleased to announce that its antiglare and antireflective films have been proven effective in eliminating glare and protecting the fragile LCD screen from damage on a variety of devices and monitors used in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. The films also filter out 99% of UVB light from reaching the screen or reflecting back to the eyes.
The NuShield DayVue antireflective film provides absolute clarity and is commonly used on monitors in operating suites and mammography monitors. It is the only screen protector on the market today that combines antireflective technology and superior scratch resistance. The film uses a low-tack silicone rubber-based adhesive to grip the screen surface. The superb glare canceling effect makes the LCD screen easy to see which is critical in these types of applications. The DayVue film is abrasion and chemical resistant and can be cleaned using disinfectants or other caustic liquids without degrading the antireflective properties or damage the LCD screen.
The NuShield Triple A antiglare, and antifingerprint film provides excellent screen visibility on electronic displays. The film uses a low-tack silicone rubber-based adhesive to grip the screen surface. It can be cleaned with disinfectants and solvents. The antiglare feature diffuses glare from overhead lights and allows users to clearly read the display indoors. The antiglare property also prevents the transmission or reflection of 99% UVB ultra violet light from reaching the user’s eyes. Typical equipment using the antiglare film include monitoring displays, patient warming devices, lab equipment with LCD interfaces, laptop computers, non-critical LCD monitors, iPad or PC tablets and even telephone system displays with LCD screens.
