Christmas came a couple of weeks later to electronics buffs when the Consumer Electronics Show was held in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11, 2019. This show featured more than 4,500 exhibiting companies, including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, technology delivery systems and more.
This year’s show featured a TV from LG that can roll up for storage. But why would you or where would you store a 65 inch diagonal TV? There is also a new 8K QLED TV from Samsung that is 98 inches diagonal. For most people, that would be their whole wall. One of our favorites is the TV that you build yourself by adding multiple devices next to each other to make a bigger screen.
There were also lots of laptops, tablets, and new phones on display. But if you like gadgets there were interactive robots, assistants, security systems and a laundry folding machine. But can it fold fitted sheets?
If you are into high end smart watches you can pick up a Kate Spade or Michael Kors. Or just go with the standard Apple and Samsung watch.
All in all, technology is moving forward and the new gadgets and entertainment devices will be making their way into your life sometime in the future. Like Hyundai’s walking car that helps you get out of snow banks or is convenient during floods to get you to safe areas.
The most bizarre devices introduced are smart toilets. Kohler now has a toilet with Alexa built right into the system so you can listen to music and have discussions while doing your business. But the best one was the toilet from Toto which features high tech sensors to automatically open and close the lid, flush the water, heat the seat, and deodorize the bowl.
From the NuShield standpoint we are amazed and pleased to see all these new devices because we find that all of the devices with displays still have issues and will have issues with glare on the screen. There will always be a need to eliminate this glare so that the user can see the screen. It won’t matter how fast your gaming laptop processes information if you can’t see what you are doing.
Glare is the number one problem in screen visibility and the NuShield Triple A anti-glare screen protector film eliminates this glare from displays from one inch diagonal up to 80 inches diagonal. The film is easy to install and bubble free. NuShield has film sizes to protect over 15,000 devices and constantly adds new models to its database.
You can learn more about our Triple A film or if you are ready, purchase our product to provide protection for your devices. If you don’t see your particular device, just measure the width and height of the display screen and send the information to NuShield using the Contact Us form. They will get back to you within 24 hours with a solution to protect your screen.
